In autumn 2009 the annual meeting of 4M drawers took place at Wernigerode. Amongst others,
we extensively visited the "Harzer Schmalspurbahnen". On the way back from the Brocken to
Wernigerode, we covered a partial distance by foot, whereupon I could photograph a quite
long piece of the railway line nearly from the side view. |

In fact, the railway line makes a double bend here, as one can see on the original picture
here and on the other pictures shown with the
short report belonging this
walking-tour. Because the program BahnLand can only present trains from the exact side view,
the railway line hat to be "straightened" in both BahnLand scenarios.
Both scenarios had been shot from the same position. But they differ marginally in the sunlight
and the camera angle. By the last one, different dimensions result for both landscape
scenarios. The trains overlayed there have been drawn by Andreas Froböse and
Wolfgang Sievers and can be downloaded from the
picture collection of Zoltan Szabo. |
