Inn valley

"Inn bridge at Passau
Leaving Passau main station to the East, the current main line is directed to Linz and Vienna. Still while exiting the station, the railway line turns to South direction and, after the Old Town of Passau was underridden through a tunnel, the Inn river gets crossed over a steely framework bridge. Immediately behind it, the boundary to Austria is reached. The bridge consists of two different framework constructions, which probably have been built at different periods. Each contains one track of the double-tracked line, where the (probably) older construction is flanked by a picturesque little sandstone tower.
